今年台灣燈會熱鬧沸騰。距離台灣燈會只剩下最後的48小時，竹縣府21日上午在高鐵3號出口燈會綜合服務區宣布燈會期間燈區內各表演舞台將有「十國百團千場」精彩表演節目，與遊客一同歡慶元宵節。
縣長邱鏡淳、文化局長蔡榮光等貴賓21日下午出席記者會。縣長邱鏡淳感謝各界的支持與贊助，縣府祭出十國百團千場次的表演活動，連結縣內、國內與國外的藝術家、演出團隊以及全台灣具有特色的傳統藝陣、現代藝術、街頭藝人，以「祈願」「幸福」「吉祥」「圓滿」的祝福，讓全世界看見新竹縣的旺盛熱情與璀璨的台灣燈會。
記者會邀請「蔡興國與墨西哥傳統舞團」及台灣新生代男子團體「GENTLEMEN紳士男孩」，帶來「春神來了」、「24個比利」、「義無反顧」等歌曲，精彩的中西合併表演獲現場熱烈掌聲，文化局長蔡榮光表示，燈會表演節目有台灣、中國、美國、日本、法國、俄國、巴西、玻利維亞、墨西哥、非洲、吉里巴斯、越南、印尼等12個國家，超過100個國內外團隊、1000場次的演出。
蔡榮光局長說，雖然此次新竹縣舉辦的經費有限，但是縣府還是用心的準備表演團隊，包括四、三、三政策，百分之四十為新竹縣內團隊，百分之三十為國內主要團隊另外百分之三十為國外知名團隊，此外也包括中國傳統重慶、陝西、蘇州、日本青森縣睡魔燈車、高知縣及鳥取縣踩街表演。
縣府為疏導每日燈會後大量人潮，特別規劃街頭藝人及「颩天團」的演出。颩天團成員以街頭藝人及親善大使為主，在燈會期間表演區域主要以交通轉運點為主，演出位置共計七大轉運點，分別為接駁區A-東轉運站、光雕植生牆接駁車等候區、接駁區B-西轉運站及文特區、接駁區B-西轉運站光明六路東二段區、接駁區C-台鐵六家站、接駁區D-高鐵新竹站以及接駁區E-竹北火車站。
此次參與節目表演團隊來自國內及縣內優秀團隊包括S.H.E、太妃堂、長榮交響樂團與在地築夢舞集、優人神鼓、十鼓擊樂團、秀卡司等。
參與的國家有俄羅斯舞蹈團、美國百老匯歌舞團、墨西哥傳統樂團、美洲印第安樂團、南美安地斯樂團、巴拉圭酒瓶舞團、玻利維亞樂團、非洲戰鼓團、吉里巴斯舞蹈團、法國藝術團、巴西舞蹈團。
日本團隊有日本東京迪士尼、日本三重縣YOSAKO、日本名古屋YOSAKO、北海道YOSAKO、日本高知縣、日本鳥取縣倉吉太鼓。
中國團隊有陝西腰鼓、北京青少年文化藝術團、重慶墊江牡丹藝術團、襄陽管弦樂團、山東淄博歌舞團。
